Flex 6000 may also qualify for up to $2,500 more through Partner Match.

How Flex Assistance Is Repaid

Flex down payment assistance is not a grant. It is a 0% interest loan with no monthly payments while the first mortgage is in place.

It becomes due when the first mortgage ends, such as when you sell, refinance, transfer or pay off the home.

The Big Rule for Repeat Buyers

You cannot own any other real property at closing.

That means if you currently own a home, you generally need to sell it before or at the same time you close on the new one. Planning the timing with your lender and agent is key.
